Bay Area Training Program in Affective Science - Summer Workshop
2121 Berkeley Way
The Bay Area Training Program in Affective Science has a day-long workshop each summer at which trainees from UC Berkeley, UC Davis, and Stanford present their research. In its various forms, this Training Program has been funded by NIMH for more than 20 years. The program is committed to broad based training, spanning human and non-human models, multiple disciplines, and social / behavioral and biological approaches. Trainees are predoctoral candidates, who are supported for two years and receive specialized training in the theory and methods of affective science to supplement their regular graduate curricula. Many graduates of the program have gone on to become major figures in affective science.
